Everyone now think that Cliff Bleszinski’s big reveal on Jimmy Fallon’s late night show will be the much rumored Gears of War 3, but if you take note of what Fallon said, your perceptions will change.
Remember, Cliffy B. NEVER said he would reveal Gears of War 3; but because many have assumed that the game should have been in development for some time now, it’s the only game they can reveal. But is that so? Of course not, developers do work in secret for years without the gaming community sees anything.
But it’s what Jimmy Fallon said that somewhat intrigued me. He said “Attn gamers: Cliff Bleszinski (@therealcliffyb) has rescheduled to Monday 4/12 to unveil his sick NEW game”.
Now this could simply mean it’s a new Gears title, but even more so it could be a new IP altogether.
I’m leaning towards a totally new game. Which, in all honesty would be more exciting.
i doubt it will be a new IP, but you never know maybe its that horror game thats been rumored for years?
i doubt it will be gears 2 though because i remember cliffy saying during development of gears 2 that gears 3 will not be out till next gen because the upgrades i want to put into it are not possible on the current systems.
i hope it shadow complex 2, now that would be a announcement worthy of its hype!
i really miss side scrolling games and shadow complex is the closest thing were ever going to get on todays consoles.
Hey nick, it’s been a few days. As you know, Gears of War 3 was announced, but rumors are flying all around that there are two new titles from Epic in the works, and that, On Fallon’s show, they’ll be revealed.

i wonder what the other game will be though, apparently its suppose to be a new IP and a shooter.
DAM! i was really begging for a horror game because well theres no good horror games out, and none in development besides dead space 2 and fear 3, and those look more like action games than horror ones.
id love to see epic take on a platformer and a horror game, see their style of the 2 genres.
