Capcom’s just announced that its highly anticipated game, Lost Planet 2 will hit store shelves on May 11th which is one week earlier than originally planned.
A new multiplayer demo is also on the horizon, and will hit PSN and Xbox Live next week via community distributed voucher codes.
The demo is packed with features, including the Turbulent Jungle map from the online versus mode, and up to 16 players will be able to get in on the fight. Also, full chat support and stat tracking are enabled.
While the demo will make its way Xbox 360 on April 21st and PS3 on the 22nd of the same month, fans of Capcom will get a sneak preview beginning March 31 via community distributed voucher codes.
If you want immediate access to the Machine Gun SP available on the full retail version of the game, download the demo and you’ll be rewarded with it. It’s a very powerful gun and fires three round bursts.
A PC version of Lost Planet 2 is planned for the fall.
