For EA, Dead Space 2 For PC Is “Not On The Plan”

EA has all but confirmed that Dead Space 2 won’t come to PC. It’s “not on the plan”.

Bluesnews was able to squeeze out a response from the publisher concerning the seemingly absent PC SKU of Dead Space 2 in its financial earnings on Monday.

“As of right now, a PC SKU is not in the plan,” an EA representative confirmed to the site.

This cannot be good. Indeed, many had thought that the firm simply made a typo when it listed the sequel as console only.

Why did EA go back on its word? Not sure, back in December it listed the Visceral game as coming to PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Dead Space 2 will hit store shelves some time between January – March 2011 since EA has confirmed the title for a fourth quarter release in its fiscal 2011.
