Gouri Daisuke, Voice Actor For Tekken’s Heihachi Has Died

by Colton West on January 18th, 2010, under Articles

Another loss to the voice acting, anime and gaming community occurred recently. Gouri Daisuke, known for his work on plenty of video game and anime projects such as Tekken’s Mishima Heihachi, Soul Calibur’s Edgemaster and Dead or Alive’s Bass has died at the age of 57.

Gouri Daisuke’s body was discovered on a street in Nanako, Japan yesterday at around 3 P.M. He died of excessive blood loss from his arm and a knife and written will were found next to his body. Japanese authorities are treating this as a suicide. I’m not sure I will be able to look at Tekken the same way after this. Rest in peace Mr. Daisuke.
