We are contacting you today because you purchased the Batman: Arkham Origins Season Pass for Wii U. We hope you’ve been enjoying the content that has been delivered thus far. Based on demand for Downloadable Content on the system, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has made the decision to remove its offering of the upcoming new story campaign for Wii U. As a result, we will be crediting the entire $19.99+tax cost of the Season Pass back to your Nintendo eShop account. You will still be able to enjoy the content already released thus far.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your support of the game.

The game was supposed to be released on Nintendo’s latest console moments after it landed on PS3 and Xbox 360, however when the reviews started pouring in, and the scandal about the game’s development was revealed, Sega said it won’t postpone the title, but vehemently denying its cancellation.

Now, it’s official. Aliens: Colonial Marines won’t come to Wii U. Not now, not in the future, not ever.

Regarding software for the Xbox 360 version of “Metal Gear Rising Revengeance”, due to various reasons, the launch of the Japanese version will be made PlayStation 3 only.

We have been looking forward to the launch on the Xbox 360 and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience to all of the persons affected.

A konami representative reaffirmed for nervous Xbox 360 owners who live in the U.S. and Europe that an Xbox 360 version will still be released in said regions.

As of press time, no reasons were given for the game’s cancellation on Xbox 360.

The website has heard from “several sources” that the long-anticipated RPG, expected to be a PS3 exclusive is no more, with one source saying the decision was made in recent weeks.

Apparently Square-Enix won’t make an official announcement about the canned title in an effort to protect is stock value, instead Final Fantasy Versus 13 will simply fade away.

Talk is the game’s resources have been integrated into Final Fantasy XV, a game being developed for next generation consoles.

Capps did pin some blame on the PC version of Bulletstorm, claiming that piracy had a great role to play with its demise.

Kojima secretly cancelled the project but after a visit to his studio by members of Platinum Games, the game was revived with the latter company as the developer. From that point, the story of the game was changed to suit Platinum’s needs, hence the VGA trailer.

Many thought since Platinum Games are now completing the project, Bayonetta boss Hideki Kamiya would be involved. He’s denied the any affiliation: “Hey everyone, I said 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times that I have nothing to do with Metal Gear Rising,” tweeted Kamiya.

Kojima recently said Metal Gear Rising is not connected to Metal Gear Solid, trying his utmost best to distance the bastard game from his flagship franchise.

“We’ve only said that the period setting is several years after MGS4. Metal Gear Rising is not part of the Metal Gear Solid series. At present, we can’t say more than this,” Hideo Kojima said.

In my humble opinion, they should have just cancelled the darn thing.
