Video Thirst: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance VGA Trailer Has Been Leaked

Producers of the Video Game Awards must be yelling at each other now, as the trailer for Metal Gear Rising has been leaked onto the internet. Quench it below.

The trailer confirms Platinum Games, the developer behind Vanquish and Bayonetta has taken up development of the game. Yeah. You’ll also notice it’s no longer Metal Gear Solid: Rising, but rather Metal Gear Rising. We don’t know what to think about that.

    @Fer1: They killed it. That’s what they just did. I’m really disappointed by this.. Metal Gear Solid is one, if not my favorite franchise of all time!

    Metal Gear is my favorite franchise, Metal Gear Solid is my favorite game of all time next TLOZ: Majora’s Mask. but this how is this anything like Metal Gear. how can you even incorporate stealth in this game?

    I have to agree. The first Metal Gear really got me into PS3 and what was then, next-gen gaming. But just as you asked, how could this have stealth? never mind.. This is not looking good. And the sword…. I don’t like the concept of the game!

    @Fer1: Dude, the whole thing already looks ruined. The voice acting sounds weak, and the game simply looks cheap compared to Metal Gear standards.. This is isn’t Metal Gear Solid. Perhaps that’s why the renamed it Metal Gear Rising, removing ‘Solid’ from the title.

    Visually the game looks great….but I would have like to see actual combat.
