Ridiculous that it’s on ps3. They lose out two ways. People will hold back buying ps4′s to buy this on ps3 and if it was on ps4 as a release title or very near they would of made an absolute killing!!
I no it’s because of the engine or whatever but still this must of been years in the making and they must of known for years that ps4 was coming. They could of changed tack ages ago. I’m gutted I won’t get to play this game as I’ll be either playing or saving up for my ps4

Hey fox, Kaz said that there’s a PS4 version incoming.

  • foxton

Let’s hope so, guessing it will just be a cheap upscale version though and not really pushing the ps4 boundaries

  • ernicegilbert

Yeah, more of a port if anything. But knowing PD, I’m sure It’ll include some extras. Extras hopefully that’ll make the PS4 version worth getting. New tracks, saves transferring over, all content released on PS3 being part of the initial PS4 package, etc.

    They’d win with that.

And again, I understand this move… Over 70 million units sold worldwide, a massive base that could see GT6 selling about 15 million units… Since GT6 has done 10 million and counting. If the PS4 version is released like 6 months to a year after, it’d still do well…

It would not, however, more PS4 hardware as compared to if it was released at the console’s launch.
