Katekyō Hitman Reborn! (translated as Home Tutor) Also known as Reborn.

Summary: The plot revolves around the life of a young boy named Tsunayoshi Sawada, who finds out that he is next in line to become the boss of the most powerful Mafia organization called ”Vongola Family” As such, the Vongola’s most powerful hitman, named Reborn, is sent to “tutor” Tsuna on how to become a respectable boss.

The series are consisted of 203 episodes and 42 volumes.

The individual manga chapters were serialized in Japan in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from April 4, 2004 and ended in November 12, 2012 and have been published into forty-two tankōbon volumes as of March 4, 2013. Viz Media licensed the series for an English language release in North America, shortening the series name to Reborn!. An anime adaptation of the series by Artland aired on TV Tokyo between October 7, 2006 and September 25, 2010.

Reborn! has become one of the best-selling Weekly Shōnen Jump manga with several of its volumes becoming top-sellers in Japan. Reviewers from the series praised its use of comedy as well as the designs used for the infant characters. They also mentioned that though it has become more violent since volume 8, it has turned into a more typical shōnen series, praising the storylines and the fights.

Medabots appeared as a game in Japan in 1997. The game adapted into anime 2 years later and aired until 2000. A sequel was also produced and aired from 2000 to 2001. This anime was one of highest rated new series for the channel FOX KIDS, which english dubbed the episodes and aired them in 2001 to 2002 and 2003 to 2004 respectively.

Plot

The protagonist of Medabots is a 10 years old boy named Ikki Tenryo and his medabot Metabee. At the beginning Ikki’s parents refused to buy him a Medabot and he was unable to afford one. Medabots were artificially intelligent robots whose purpose is to serve humans. Ikki’s dream was to become a champion of the World Robattle Tournament (WRT). Finally Ikki managed to get enough money to buy an outdated model and found a medal in a river. Medals were the AI chips that needed a Robot model to work. Ikki used his medal on the Medabot (name: Metabee, Metal Beetle) but it seemed as the medal gived Metabee a severe attitude problem (rarely seen in a Medabot) and Ikki thought it was defective. However, it was revealed that Metabee actually had a ”rare” medal.

The rare medals, were kept secret by the Medabot Corporation, as very little was known about them. However, a Medabot with a rare medal would be able to call upon an attack called the “Medaforce”

The story goes on while Ikki is making friends, fights for the good against evil minds, and trying to become number one along with Metabee.

Also, later in the series, Medabots are found to be actually thousands of years old: remnants of an ancient civilization who called themselves Medalorians. The Medalorians were obsessed with war, and to become more effective warriors they fastened metal armor to themselves. However, their wars decimated the civilization, and the survivors coded their memories onto hexagonal pieces of metal. These, “Medals” , cloned and mass produced by the Medabot Corporation, are the Medabot equivalent of a brain and soul. The original medals, referred to as “rare” medals, are kept in storage because of the extreme power they have.

 Medarot Damashii, a sequel to the original series, follows Kam Kamazaki, a twelve year old boy who has designed one of the most dangerous medabots in the entire story, called Kilobots (or Death Medarot, in the Japanese version). These medabots have no feelings, since the emotion part of the Medabot medal has been removed. More strength parts have been replaced they break the rules in order to win a fight. In the first episode, Ikki loses a Robattle against one when it cheats and reloads. But he soon meets Nae, a Medabot mechanic who gives Ikki new medaparts in order to defeat the kilobot. The serie goes on with Ikki fighting against the Kilobots.

The Robotic Combat Elemenents of Medabots were inspired by  Plawres Sanshiro.

Let’s start with history: The anime was first aired in 1983, in Japan, Hong Kong, Greece (I really loved Jumaru) and Arab countries. The manga appeared in 1982 and continued until 1985.

In japanese the name is: Plawres Sanshiro (Puraresu Sanshirō)

Story: Sanshiro Sugata and his 30cm PlaWrestler robot Juohmaru are trying to win against all their rivals and one day become the champion of the PlaWrestler tournament. The anime combines  professional wrestling, hi-tech Robot Wars and traditional Dojo features. That’s because the grandfather of Sanshiro is the judo master of the Sugata dojo, which of course, Sanshiro never attends to.

Summary of season one and two, ”Naruto” , ”Naruto Shippuuden”

Naruto is a young boy who wants to be acknowledged and has vowed that he would, one day, become the best Hokage (Leader of the Village). The plot is followed by a story: Twelve years ago a nine-tailed Demon Fox attacked the village (Konoha) and killed many villagers, skilled ninja and destroyed much of the village. The Fourth Hokage used a very strong jutsu (skill, technique) and sacrificed his life to seal the Nine-Tails into a newborn, Naruto Uzumaki. In his childhood, naruto was ostracized by the villagers because they regarded him as the Nine-Tails itself. Even though the Third Hokage, who was in charge, outlawed speaking about anything related to the Nine-Tails, the children inherited the same feelings towards naruto, hate and fear.

So the adventure of Naruto starts at the academy, where he achieves the first title of a ninja and becomes a Genin. Of course that happened after a lot of struggles and fights, where he learned a jutsu from a forbidden scroll, the Shadow Clone Jutsu (Kage Bunshin no Jutsu). After graduation Naruto was assigned in team 7, along with Sakura and Sasuke. Naruto had a crush on Sakura and Sasuke was his ”rival”, a very talented kid, the only survivor (except of his older brother Itachi, who is a rogue ninja) of the Uchiha clan who possessed Sharingan. The sensei (leader/teacher) of team 7 was Kakashi Hatake. As team 7 they were assigned to many missions and they participated in a ninja exam that gives them the opportunity to get higher ninja ranking. During the exams Orochimaru attacked the village and killed the Third Hokage. After that Jiraya (one of the three legendary ninja) went for a journey to find Tsunade to make her the Fifth Hokage that needed Konoha. During the journey they discovered that Orochimaru wanted Sasuke to get his powers, and eventually Sasuke followed him because he thought he could become stronger and take revenge by killing brother. Naruto and his friends tried hard to take him back, but they were too weak. So Naruto decided to leave Konoha and follow jiraya, with whom he trained for two and a half years.

After Naruto returned from his training, a new organisation made his appearance. The Akatsuki, which wanted all the ‘tailed beasts’ that were inside of people, just like Naruto. Itachi was a member of Akatsuki too. They took 7 of the beasts and all their hosts died in the process except of Gaara, who was the host of the One-Tailed beast, thanks to Naruto and his comrades who saved him. Itachi died in his battle with Sasuke and after that he was told by the Akatsuki founder and leader Tobi that Itachi was ordered by Konoha’s leadership to destroy his clan to which he agrees with the condition of allowing Sasuke to be spared. Thus, Sasuke joins forces with Akatsuki to kill Konoha’s superiors who ordered the Uchihas’ elimination and destroy Konoha in revenge.

The Konoha ninja killed a lot of Akatsuki members but the strongest one, Pain invaded Konoha to capture Naruto. However Naruto won him, became a hero and convinced to abandon Akatsuki. With Pain’s eventual death, Tobi, announced that he wanted to obtain all nine of the “tailed beasts” in order to perform an illusion powerful enough to control all of humanity. The leaders of the five ninja villages joined forces to defend against Tobi and his allies. This resulted in a fourth ninja world war between the unified armies of the Five Great Countries (known as the “Ninja Alliance Army”) and Akatsuki’s forces. During the conflict, it is revealed that Tobi is actually Obito Uchiha, Kakashi’s former teammate who was supposed to be dead, but he was saved by the real Madara Uchiha and has been working with him ever since. When Sasuke learned the true faces of his ”allies” he decided to come back to Konoha, protect it and help his friends to confront the enemy.

I’m asking now, before continuing on with my work, in order to meet your expectations, and work on a template that you like — let’s not forget, this all is for you. I assure you, I’ve no shortage on content, and I could elaborate on each franchise I write about for articles upon articles.

For a start, let’s begin with the story: Here we have Son Goku as the main character ( also known as Goku in the American and English version). Goku was a monkey-tailed boy when he found Bulma and together they started their quest to find the seven dragonballs, which grant the user any wish they desire before spreading back out across the world.

So, during their journey Goku made a lot of allies as  Yamcha and Chi-Chi (whom Goku unknowingly agrees to marry) and encountered the villain Pilaf. Goku then undergoes rigorous training regimes under the martial artist Kame-Sen’nin in order to fight in the Tenkaichi Budōkai ( “Strongest Under the Heavens Martial Arts Tournament”) that attracts the most powerful fighters in the world. A monk named Kuririn(also known as Krillin) becomes his training partner and rival, but they soon become best friends.  After the tournament, Goku sets out on his own to recover the Dragon Ball his Grandfather left him and encounters the Red Ribbon Army, whose leader wants to collect the Dragon Balls for himself. He almost single-handedly defeats the army, including their hired assassin Taopaipai, whom he originally lost to, but after training under the hermit Karin, now easily beats. Goku reunites with his friends to defeat the fortuneteller Baba Uranai‘s fighters and have her locate the last Dragon Ball in order to revive a friend killed by Taopaipai.

Since its release, Dragon Ball has become one of the most successful manga and anime series of all time. The manga’s 42 volumes have sold over 156 million copies in Japan and more than 230 million copies worldwide, making it the second best-selling series in manga history. Reviewers have praised the art, characterization, and humor of the story. It is widely regarded as one of the greatest manga series ever made. The anime, particularly Dragon Ball Z, is also highly popular in various countries and was arguably one of the most influential in greatly boosting the popularity of Japanese animation in Western culture.
