Katekyō Hitman Reborn! (translated as Home Tutor) Also known as Reborn.

Summary: The plot revolves around the life of a young boy named Tsunayoshi Sawada, who finds out that he is next in line to become the boss of the most powerful Mafia organization called ”Vongola Family” As such, the Vongola’s most powerful hitman, named Reborn, is sent to “tutor” Tsuna on how to become a respectable boss.

The series are consisted of 203 episodes and 42 volumes.

The individual manga chapters were serialized in Japan in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from April 4, 2004 and ended in November 12, 2012 and have been published into forty-two tankōbon volumes as of March 4, 2013. Viz Media licensed the series for an English language release in North America, shortening the series name to Reborn!. An anime adaptation of the series by Artland aired on TV Tokyo between October 7, 2006 and September 25, 2010.

Reborn! has become one of the best-selling Weekly Shōnen Jump manga with several of its volumes becoming top-sellers in Japan. Reviewers from the series praised its use of comedy as well as the designs used for the infant characters. They also mentioned that though it has become more violent since volume 8, it has turned into a more typical shōnen series, praising the storylines and the fights.

Three games titled Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Flame Rumble were subsequently released on the Nintendo DS, with the latest game in the Flame Rumble series being released in July 2009.

Hello everyone. I was too busy the past weeks and I really missed my time here, so here I am. I am back in action and my returning is followed with some HOT NEWS.

The movie Dragonball: Battle of Gods has been released. As I said on a previous post, in this movie the final form of Saiyans was revealed. Watch online here.

TV Special ‘Pokemon: The Origin’ Air on October 2nd

According to the official Pokemon Website, a TV special ”Pokemon: The Origin” will air on the TV Tokyo network at 7pm on October 2nd. The story is based on the Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green games which are regarded as the origin of the Pokemon series. During the Pokemon Game Show, it was announced that a brand new anime will run to coincide with Pokémon XY but it is still unclear if this is a special or series.

Hello everyone! Not too long ago, the big guy (Ernice) and the game-tamer (Christos) brought me in, and we introduced the brand new Otaku section — a corner of the site dedicated to the anime fans out there. In these days, I published two articles: an introduction to DragonBall, and a more in-depth look into the series. While not something much yet, I want to ask the Games Thirst community this: do you like what you see?

To expand on this: what would you like to see? Does the form of the articles appeal to you? Would you want to see more, for example, pictures? Art? Videos? Music? Obscure facts? More articles, and more often?

I’m asking now, before continuing on with my work, in order to meet your expectations, and work on a template that you like — let’s not forget, this all is for you. I assure you, I’ve no shortage on content, and I could elaborate on each franchise I write about for articles upon articles.

So, keeping this sort; nay? Yay? Yay, but…? Let’s hear your opinions!

As Games Thirst continues to grow, things are becoming more exciting. Today, I’m proud to introduce to you a new addition to our team, Andreas Tsavtaridis! I’ll give him the pleasure of telling you more about who he is, where he hails from, and what his role on Games Thirst will be, however I’d just like to insert that you should expect great content from the man! I’ve already welcomed him in private discussions, but I’ll do it openly here, one more time: Welcome, Andrew! Make the internet awesome!

Message From Andrew

Greetings! I’m Andreas Tsavtaridis, but you can call me Andrew-san. I hail from Athens, Greece, and I’m a personal friend of yours truly, Christos Chatzisavvas. I will be handling the brand new “Otaku” section of Games Thirst, where I will cover everything anime, and throw in some Japanese culture talk in there. Over there, you can expect me to post reviews, opinion articles, general information, character information, art, soundtracks, and more — all about animes. I’ve watched over 5000 episodes of anime, and I just love every ingredient used to make one.

Apart from that, I’m leaning towards MOBA games, but I’ve some experience with the rest as well. The original Defence of the Ancients is my favorite one, but you can always find me online on League of Legends, or some DOTA 2. I’m also a professional dancer, mostly Greek folk, but modern dances as well. Lastly, I like the occasional basketball and football match with friends, but that’s about it.

I’m here with Ernice and Christos, willing to give 100% of my knowledge to the site and, consequently, all its visitors. I’m willing to give and take, teach and learn, so don’t hesitate to contact me about anything. I’ll also be pretty active in the comments section of everything I post, but personal mail would not be out of the question.
