Video Thirst: Watch Skyrim Played On PS Vita

Sony, we have no idea what you’re dreaming but you need to wake up. Wake up and start making features like this official. I mean if I can play Skyrim on my Vita, like the video below proves, via Remote Play, why isn’t Sony taking advantage of it on an official level? I’d gladly play inFamous 2, Uncharted 3, God of War: Ascension and countless other titles on my Vita…

Maybe it’s because if they make this official, Vita games wouldn’t sell. Anyhow, quench your thirst.

[thanks, Benzo!]

    whats the point?
the whole point of the vita is a portable console, no one is going to use it at home to play games they could be playing on a 50 ” TV!

The point is to show the functionality and the different things that people/developers can do with the Vita and the PS3. I mean if “whats the point” is the stance to take, then whats the point of the Wii U or the Smartglass thing? I like the different things folks are doing with the Vita, just hope somebody at Sony or a developer that has a Vita game in the works is taking notice….

smartglass and wiiu are using the console playing games and showing a different point of view or more information.
this though, well, you still havent answered my question.
why would you play a game on the vita when you could play said game on a 50 inch television?
this only works on PCs that can obviously run the games, so your really going to go spend a thousand or so on a gaming PC, just so you can run the games on the vita?
    really?
this is about as point full as hiring a crane to lift a leaf!

So the Vita is not capable of giving different points for view or more info in conjunction with a PS3 game? And correct me if I’m wrong, but during their E3 conference, didnt Nintendo stress the fact that they Wii U tablet could be used as a game screen? As a matter of fact they mentioned it more than a few times since it was announced. Like is said, it shows what the Vita is capable of from a functionality standpoint. I hope folks keep up the good work utilizing their Vitas, because somebody eventually will notice and share it with the masses.
