Video Thirst: Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed, Trailer Inside

Sega’s gone live with Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed, an arcade racing title which features boats, cars and planes. Details, including a reveal trailer can be quenched below the break.

The game’s being developed by Sumo Digital, the developer which made the original Sonic & All-Stars Racing, with much help coming from former Bizzare Creations design manager Gareth Wilson.

It should release “late 2012″, according to Sega, and will include characters such as Sonic, Dr Eggman, AiAi, Vyse from Skies of Arcadia and Gilius Thunderhead from Golden Axe.

    boats, cars and planes?
    WTF happened to the karts!?
oh sega please dont tell me your turning this into a crappy all peoples racing game!
sigh, when will companies learn customers dont want 10 pies made by a bum?
we would MUCH rather 1 pie made by a top chef.
in other words jack of all trades master of none = low sales.
jack of few trades, master of all = better sales!
so sick of every developer out there cramming every little last thing in there just because more features = more sales!
might as well bake a cake and add every ingredient in your cupboard into it, yea hows that going to turn out?
exactly, so why are you doing it with your game!?
and then they wonder why there bleeding money!
oh what id give to see sega go back to the glory of the genesis days!
