Video Thirst: First Battlefield 3 CQC Trailer Goes Live

DICE has unleashed the first trailer of Battlefield 3 upcoming Close Quarters Combat DLC, and if there were any qualms about the lateness of its release, June will be nothing to wait after you have a look at it. It’s like waiting for the love your life just a tad longer. Couldn’t you do that?

is this really what we want in BF3?
i know DICE say the smaller closed maps are more popular but seriously?
the smaller levels in the campaign like the one in the office building or the 2 in the same house towards the end really spoilled the game for me!
battlefield is suppose to be about levels like operation gilotine and of course firing jet fighters off the top of air craft caries!
not busting into someones house and having a fire fight.

Well now that you have a couple million folks playing BF3, DICE has to cater to a diverse crowd. I, for one, wouldn’t mind some CQC action.

Nick why are you talking about the campaign when comparing? This is exactly what it says it will be, Close Quarters, its gonna be frantic, hectic and is all about damage. BF is famed for its large maps, but it also also stated the smaller maps are the most popular, so fair play to them for bringing out DLC that keep gamers interested.
And dont worry they are not shying away from the larger maps, their 2nd DLC installment of this series is all about vehicle warfare, not close quarters and features “the largest map in Battlefield History”

thats what they say, im just questioning if thats really what the fans want.
