Sega announces launch date and price for The Cave

Sega Europe and Sega of America in a partnership with Double Fine Productions, are jumping over the hillbilly moon to announce the launch date and price for the upcoming adventure game, The Cave. Created by legendary game designer Ron Gilbert, The Cave will be available on January 22nd in North America and on the 23rd January in Europe for the PlayStation Network for $14.99/ €12.99/£9.99. On January 23rd, it will be available on Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system for 1200 MSP and Steam for $14.99/ €12.99/£9.99. The release date for the Nintendo eShop on Wii U will be announced soon.

The Cave is a new adventure game from Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion creator Ron Gilbert and Double Fine Productions, the award-winning studio behind Psychonauts and Brütal Legend. Players can assemble their team of three from seven unlikely adventurers, each with their own unique personalities and stories and then descend into the mysterious depths of The Cave.
