I’m getting the PlayStation Vita in the next 2-3 weeks!
I’m asking what games and accessories do you guys recommend?
I know i’m getting WipEout 2048 because that game is DOPE! :3
im buying another 3DS, right now sony is not giving me reasons to buy a vita, AC Liberation is just not enough. if the vita had a constant flow of games spaced out from each other then maybe but it doesn’t. every couple months a good vita game comes out then it goes dry again. the 3DS is just better and cheaper too.

I am not sure what games you should get because I do not know what games you like. I would personally just get Wipeout 2048 (since you already know you want it), and then just download demos of the other games from the store. That way, you can see which ones you will like. It is what I did. As far as my recommendations go, for games I would look at are Uncharted: Golden Abyss and I like Resistance. I was not going to play it because of the reviews, but once I played the demo, I loved it. I would try the demo first though. From the psn store, I would get Mutant Blobs Attack. It is one of the most fun platformers I have ever played and it is only $7.99. It is an absolute blast and for that price, a steal. There is also this motorstorm rc rally game. I got it when it was free, but I am not sure if it still is or not. It is pretty fun. You can get it on psn.
For accessories, do not skimp on memory. I got the 16gb and it seems to plenty for me, but I only buy cartridge games and do not download much. If you download a lot, then get the 32gb. I also purchased this accessory for the vita.

It helps me grip it better and gives it an overall better feel. I am not sure what else though. I would look into some screen protectors as well and maybe a case. I don’t have a case yet though.
That is all I can think of. I really suggest playing the demos of some games first before buying them. You can gauge the game that way. I also liked Unit 13, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma plus. There is no demo for Ninja Gaiden. It is just the first ninja gaiden game on vita now, but it is still fun. Hope you like your vita. I have not regretted it yet. I use it for more than just gaming to, which is why i like it.
@TheGrim…I suggest you purchase at MadKatz Armorshell clear case. It is about $10, and it covers the Vita well. Allows for easy access to the sticks,dpad,buttons,and slots for memory and games. It also covers the rear touchpad,but has a easily removable panel for times when u need to access it. I bought on myself. If you have the coin,or can catch a deal, I would also suggest a traveling case of some sort. Preferably something hard in case of drops. Now as far as games…Uncharted Golden Abyss. That was my 1st purchase and I loved it. Right now I’m playing Resistance Burning Skies,and its a solid game. But honestly, I think the best idea would be to download the demos for Vita games and give them a try. Unit 13,Burning Skies, Gravity Rush, and Rayman would be my suggestions for demos to try. But Uncharted Golden Abyss is my “must buy” for Uncharted fans. Hope that helps. Any questions you can find me on GT!!!!!
I have the 3ds as well, but hardly play it. There are some good games, but not that many that appeal to me. It took nintendo just as long to release good games as it is taking Sony. The console has only been out 4 months in the US. I don’t see why people expect it to have such a huge lineup. It took nintendo almost a year before it had a steady stream of note worthy games.
@Ghost…your wait to be wowed approach is admirable. I personally dont like the 3ds,but I’ve never been much of a nintendo fan. But once Sony shows you some compelling titles,you should have no problem finding a buyer for one of you 3ds systems. Not because it sucks,but because they will be hard to find come the holidays. I agree that a constant flow of games would be nice though,plus the Vita price is a little steep. But hey…Vita owners will embrace you when/if you decide to join the fold. VIVA LA VITA!!!!
Thanks Joshua and Benzo! I now just realized that I can download games before buying them. XD So then I suppose I will get Uncharted, WipEout 2048, Resistance, Mutant Blobs, and I Motorstorm RC! As for accessories a 32 GB card, trigger grips, a case, a metallic faceplate, screen protector, and maybe the PS Vita official Headphones? Also, what do you guys think of downloading older PSP games? I was thinking of Tekken 6 and DJ Max!

@benzo…thanks dude but I’m not in the US. I’m in Saudi Arabia. Also I want to ask you guys is it better if I wait for the AC3 Liberation PS Vita Limited Edition Bundle? It looks nice with a game and a free 4 GB memory card plus the game. But I will still get a 16 or 32 GB card.

every time they showed off the vita LBP was the first game they showed off!

its really weird all of the games shown off for the vita, uncharted, unit 13, ect,ect have been released this is the only one that still has not released, and still has no release date!
which is a shame because out of all the games announced for the vita its the one that will help sell the system the most!
first off because it fits in for all ages both kids and adults would enjoy it.
and secondly because of the creation tools the franchise is known for.
come on $ony, hurry up and release it already!!!!!!!!!!!!!
