XCOM gameplay can be found below the break. The game awed the masses when it was first shown, but its E3 2011 debut lacked luster, yet 2K Games decided to release the thing for the world to see. Let’s see have a watch.

Okay, 2K games is now out in the open trying hard to defend XCOM’s apparent change ever since the game last E3 showing left fans disappointed. Massively. So in order to be fair, we’ve posted below the break two trailers of the same game: one being its unveiling trailer, and the other the most recent E3 2011 trailer. You be the judge.
While many developers have chosen to neglect a good story when building a game to their own detriment, 2K Marine has taken a different route. Especially with XCOM, where added talent has solidified the studio’s stance.
If you look hard enough, there’s always something new somewhere. Even if it doesn’t pop up where everything else does, a concentrated search will net you hidden treasures. Not sure if the XCOM gameplay footage below the break warrants “hidden treasures” but it’s more than worth a watch.

2K’s just sent live its XCOM PR, and in it we find out that the game will not only be coming to Xbox 360, but also PS3, and will come available in March of next year.
E3 is nearly upon us. Gamers around the world are getting giddy with anticipation for the worlds biggest gaming event of the year, and us at Games Thirst are no different.
XCOM was announced last year for PC and Xbox 360 as a survival-type shooter, but according to Superannuation, the game’s seen massive changes since it was announced. This rumor has legs, since 2K Australia studio director, Martin Slater, apparently resigned last month, giving little to no reasons why.
2K Australia’s the developer behind the reboot, by the way.
