Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet was one of the most hyped games of this years “Summer Of Arcade” and for good reason too. With beautiful visuals, fluid animations and a dark and moody atmosphere that will draw you in from start to finish, there are few other games that deliver such a well crafter experience as Twisted Shadow Planet.
Warhammer 40,000: Kill team is a fast-paced arcade shooter that is available on the Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network. While fans of the Warhammer franchise look to get the most enjoyment from this title it is still an all round solid third person arcade style shooter.
The summer of arcade begins next next Wednesday (July 20th) and will be bring some of the years best looking arcade titles all just one week apart. But with these big titles just around the corner we mustn’t forget the little guy.
Splosion Man was well received by both critics and fans. It is therefore no surprise that we are seeing a sequel so soon after the originals launch back in 2010. The Xbox Live Arcade is home to a great selection platformers that may not have seen a release anywhere else. While Little Big Planet fights to keep side scrolling platformers relevant to a modern audience, few other platformers are getting full releases on current consoles. This does not mean we are getting less, just from different places. We can all hope that “Sonic: Generations” might spark new interest into this fading genre, but for now lets looks at the best thats on offer for download on the Xbox Live Arcade.
I gave a first look at Sega Rally Online Arcade last week, but now I have put in some decent game time on this arcade classic it’s time for the final verdict.
Although A game with good graphics won’t make a bad game good, it can make a good game even better. The xbox live arcade and PSN store have seen a variety of different first person shooters released, all varying in quality. But today I am simply looking at which games are most pleasing to the eye.

This hidden gems keep raising the bar each year and demonstrating that a gaming experience with high production values are not strictly confined to retail or console titles.
