We recently claimed that Uncharted 2 has the most beautiful scenery we had ever seen in a video game. So has the games developer Naughty Dog decided to sit contented with their incredible game engine and beautiful art style or are they stepping up their game once again.
Tomorrow will see the mulitplayer beta of one of this year’s most anticipated game go live. Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will begin testing MP tomorrow, and Naughty Dog’s so pumped they’ve sent live five trailers.
We’ve gathered them and some details for you below the cut.
We don’t have much details on Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception storyline, but it appears that Drake and Elena have gotten married after the events of Uncharted 2: Drake’s deception.
Believe me when I say long lines of text with me talking silliness is the the last thing you’d want to read at this time, as below the break 14 glorious Uncharted 3 screenshots await.
The Uncharted 3 fans who’ve been itching for special edition and pre-order incentive offerings can rejoice now, as Naughty Dog’s revealed what it has in store.
E3 is nearly upon us. Gamers around the world are getting giddy with anticipation for the worlds biggest gaming event of the year, and us at Games Thirst are no different.
“The Xbox 360 was launching, and we saw that everybody was doing these browns and grays, and post-apocalyptic and heavy and bald space marines. So, as soon as we hit on that idea of what became Nathan Drake, we thought, ‘this is really going to stand out.’”
That’s Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells speaking about the early days when they were trying to solidify the main protagonist who’s now Nathan Drake in the celebrated Uncharted franchise.
Is it true? Are Naughty Dog truly prepping splitscreen co-op for Uncharted 3? Because that’s the focus of a rumor making the rounds on gaming’s web, with many hailing Sully as the other playable character.
There’s apparently video proof of this. Find it after the break.
Remember the awesome train wreck footage shown off by Naughty Dog from Uncharted 2 before the game was released? Who wouldn’t? In its time, it was the best thing we’d ever seen. But now, at PAX east, the developer’s said the whole thing will look ancient once we see what they’ve accomplished with Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
Naughty Dog isn’t playing around, apparently. Although Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception won’t be out till late next year, the hype train’s already left the station, burning through the VGAs, crashing Jimmy Fallon’s late night show, and now, as if Naughty Dog knew we were left wanting after the first reveal, the developer’s released to new spanking hot videos.
Quench them past the break.
Wow, if there’s anything to be excited about in the gaming industry, anything at all, then it must be Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. After the game was announced on the US PS Blog, we got to see even more, including its debut trailer at the Video Game Awards this past Saturday night on Spike TV.
Fans were awed, in fact it was the biggest reveal of the night, and thank God we were left wanting instead of disappointed. Still, Naughty Dog’s not done, as they’ve prepared for our viewing pleasure the first behind the scenes video for the game. It’s packed, guys. Nolan North (Nathan Drake) and Richard Mc Gonagle (Victor Sullivan) were present to share the experiences they’ve had with the game, with Nolan North proclaiming playing Nathan Drake’s the best job he’s ever had in being in this business for fifteen years.
Quench it past the jump. A must see.
Who need words of explanation when you have a spanking hot trailer? Especially when it’s the premier trailer of the PS3′s most popular hero…
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception’s been properly unveiled, guys, debut trailer and all.
