Remember yesterday’s news about Sega teasing something involving guts? It’s been revealed this something is Typing of the Dead: Overkill’s Steam release.

The original game dates back to the Dreamcast, and it was a spin on the House of the Dead series. Instead of shooting undead, you had to shoot words fast enough to make them die (again). Randomized words pop up and you have to type them in as you see them fast enough. Based on the House of the Dead: Overkill game for the PlayStation 3, a co-op mode is planned to be released as DLC at a later date.
