Although inFamous 2 has all the buzz at the moment, topping all to become PS3′s bestselling game in June, there’s another game that we all should keep on our radars. It’s very similar to Sucker Punch’s sandbox, but at the same time very unique. Check out the developer diary of Prototype 2 below the break, and listen as the Radical Entertainment team discusses how when using the tendrils, you can grab bits of the environment such as cars, and pull them in towards an enemy and smash him.

Infamous is still one of my most favorite games this generation. It offers me the chance to play as a superhero in a fully open world. The story was pretty good, but the graphics could use some touching up, but other than that, the game is great. This is why I have been so excited for the release of Infamous 2. It has a great foundation to work with, and can truly be one of the best games out there. But, did it live up to these lofty expectations?
I remember writing an article titled Prototype 2 Will Soon Be At Your Tail, Sucker Punch, however Radical Entertainment, the developer behind the game, has said it’s a “completely different” experience to what inFamous 2 offers.

Heavenly Sword is one of those games that came out in the early days of PS3, and managed to display the console’s magnificent power. It also sold a decent amount of copies in its time, and has garnered a faithful fanbase. Ninja Theory developed the first game, but ever since the studio parted ways with Sony, a sequel of the hack-n-slash title has been in doubt.
Not no longer, apparently, as PlayGamer magazine has teased that a sequel will be present at E3.
Games are becoming shorter and shorter with each passing console generation, but some developers have decided to buck the trend and make their games experience a lengthy and enjoyable one. Sucker Punch happens to be one of those developers, and in a recent interview, the studio’s game director divulged its length.
