It’s official, then. The hype train for Modern Warfare 3 has unofficially taken off. Apart from hearing talking of the game pushing the FPS genre to places its never been, and in essence “resetting” the space, we now have what’s rumored to be the game’s box art and logo slapped below the break for your quenching pleasure.
While EA’s been busy talking up Battlefield 3, going as far as calling it superior to Call of Duty, Activision’s been quietly helming the next COD game, one it says will once again lead the way in immersion, and set a new standard for the franchise…and possibly industry on a whole.
The next COD title, believed to be Modern Warfare 3, is codenamed Call of Duty: Project Colossus, and according to a report from Eurogamer, will see a launch on November 8th, 2011.
