Story In Killzone 3 Has Been “Considerably Ramped Up” Says Guerrilla Games

by Ernice Gilbert on November 15th, 2010, under Guerrilla Games, Hot, News, Sony

For me, there’s nothing more important in a game than its story. I know gameplay is paramount, but if I’m proceeding in a game and going through missions, yet my mission itself is weak, full of flaws and makes no sense, then I lose all interest.

That’s why I don’t get why so many developers neglect such an necessary component of making a game, with the excuse that it doesn’t matter.

At least Treyarch’s learnt their lesson, and apparently Killzone 3 developer Guerrilla Games has seen the light. Speaking to D’toid recently, Killzone 3′s senior producer Steven Ter Heide said this time around the game’s story has been “considerably ramped up” when compared to other entries in the best selling franchise.
