When news broke that Insomniac Games had reached a deal with EA Partners to release their next big game, one that will see a release on PS3 and Xbox 360, gaming’s web had much to say about the development. Was it a good move to part ways with Sony and start doing multiplatform titles? Will it make any difference at all?
Many questions were asked and varying opinions still linger today, the main thing is, though, Insomniac Games remains independent and gets to dictate its own future, something studio boss Ted Price appreciates. For him, it was never about the money, and yet he’s extremely grateful to Sony for being a great partner for so long.
