It seems Bioware’s pulling all the stops when it comes to the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2. Not only will said console get most of the game’s DLC that’s already been released for the former Xbox 360 exclusive, the developer’s confirmed that it’s running on Mass Effect 3′s engine.

Bungie’s a renowned developer in the gaming industry, it’s the studio that made the Xbox and Xbox 360 what it is today with its award winning, best selling franchise, Halo. Everything must come to end, however, and Bungie’s time with Microsoft and making Halo games has ended with a bang.
So it’s now moving on to new things, new partnerships, games and yes, a brand new game engine that it’ll use to develop all future titles for the next ten years.
