Industry Needs Its Own Weekly Top Ten Chart Says ESA
If you’re either a movie or a music fan, you’ll know that every week, a top ten list is released that details the best selling works in both industries. Michael Gallagher, president of the Entertainment Software Association, believes the gaming industry should employ its own top ten list just like film and music.
Gallagher believes this could only help the industry grow and get more recognition, after all, NPD figures reveal only so much to the public and something more transparent is needed. He said this at a press conference earlier in June.
