Monday Night Combat was an unexpected gem back in 2010. It got good reviews across the board with a metacritic score of 80/100 and solid sales with over 293,000 sold by the end of 2010 on the Xbox Live Arcade alone. Now Uber Entertainment is realising more robot smashing, castle defence, third person shooter actions with Super Monday Night Combat.

Video Thirst: Resistance 3 Gets New Comic Con Vids, Global Resistance Unveiled

Sony’s sent live a video from its Comic Con Resistance 3 panel where the game’s devs spoke about all things concerning it. You’ll hear talk about the weapons wheel and why it was brought back after disappearing from RE2, to details on multiplayer. The panel includes creative director Marcus Smith, art director Grant Hollis, animation director Kevin Grow, as well as voice actors Robin Atkin Downes and Crispin Freeman.

There’s another video that was used to unveil something called the “Global Resistance”, where you and your friends can join in to stop the taking over of earth, or crush the Resistance altogether. Players will see themselves competing across different platforms. From Facebook to PSN, joining friends in what Sony and Insomniac Games are hoping will be a hit. There’s much more below the break.
