Ubisoft’s come clean and officially confirm that Assassin’s Creed will make its way onto Nintendo’s Wii U when the console is released next year, adding that the new system was “easy to develop for”.

Patrice Désilets, the creator of Assassin’s Creed has in the past publicly said he didn’t like the path Ubisoft was taking the franchise he created, noting the yearly release as the main problem. That and other things caused the game developer to leave Ubisoft and venture into the wild, although he said back in June he was just taking a “creative break from the industry”.
Thing is, a man with such talent never stays in the wild for too long, and today THQ’s announced its opening a new studio in Montreal, one that will be headed by none other than the Assassin’s Creed creator himself.
