There are certain things in life that are free, from the people we keep closest to our hearts to a walk on a beautiful public, sandy beach. But there are things that we know can’t come unless moneys are involved, and quite honestly, that’s almost everything. Even certain privileges that one should never have to pay for comes with a price these days, and the more we venture into the future, the more we realize the absolute importance of money.
But there are times when the things that we usually pay for becomes free, albeit for a short time, and because of something that’s happened, in our case, the PSN hack which lead to millions of user accounts becoming exposed, including date of birth, address and other important and sensitive information. Because of this, Sony kept offline the PlayStation Network for the better part of a month, apologized and promised gamers that it would provide them with a “Welcome Back” package that would see them getting four games for free: choose two out of five for PS3 and the same for PSP. That promise was realized yesterday when Sony sent live the program and gamers the world over were rejoicing – but what they didn’t know is that they’ll have way more reasons to rejoice than they ever imagined. Because they won’t only get four free games, instead they’ll get 2×10. Do the math.
