The Beta begins on July 17th on PlayStation platforms, and two weeks later on Xbox platforms. It ends on July 28th for all platforms. The game itself sees a worldwide launch on September 9th, 2014 on the listed platforms.

“It sounds like a movie, but it’s not a movie,” said Veca in a new behind-the-scene video. “It’s happening right there [in the game].”

Veca also notes that the team has made huge improvements to the sounds of weapons, stating that the “sound goes through your body”.

Almost all impact and explosion sounds will be unique, meaning players should not hear the same sounds over and over again. Check out a video demonstration below. The game’s out November 4th on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Battlefield 4: Dragon’s Teeth introduces 4 new multiplayer maps set in “dense Asian Pacific cities”, five new weapons, the Ballistic shield and a new game mode Chain Link, that sees players “linking together capture points to win the battle”.

The fifth and final expansion pack dubbed Final Stand will be released later this year, however it’ looking like that it’ll miss summer.

Both packs will introduce brand new story missions, co-op activities and competitive multiplayer maps, as well as a “wealth of all new weapons, armor and gear”.

The first expansion, titled ‘The Dark Below’, will take players to an ancient tomb deep beneath the surface of the Moon, where they’ll discover a dark god who has “risen an evil army in the depths of the Hellmouth, the home of the Hive enemy race”.

Details on the second expansion ‘House of Wolves’ will be revealed at a later date.

In addition to the PlayStation-exclusive content available at launch, PlayStation users will also receive additional timed-exclusive content in both The Dark Below and House of Wolves. The content will remain exclusive until at least autumn 2015, Sony has revealed on the US PS Blog.

Release dates for the two expansion packs have yet to be announced.

The Destiny begins on PS4/PS3 next Thursday, July 17, and one week later on Wednesday, July 23 on Xbox One/Xbox 360.

So says Bungie COO Pete Parsons in an interview with GI.biz, who also revealed that they’ve been testing the game for months, and that an alpha of “family and friends” went live eight weeks before the PS4 beta was announced at E3 2014.

“We have been actively preparing. It’s always scary and exciting and to put your work out in front of people who are judging it but it’s also scary to put it out there because you’re testing whether it’s going to work or not.

“They’ve really learned a lot over the last year, so we take it super seriously and we’ve been planning for a long time. We’ve been investing to make sure that we have the best experience possible. We will ultimately see what happens but we have every expectation of from moment one having a great experience.”

Destiny hits consoles on September 9th, including PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. The game will also introduce white PS4s in the U.S. via a Destiny/PS4 bundle, and comes ready with exclusive PS4 content that’s rumored to remain solely on Sony’s consoles for over a year.

“We’ll have our own style. The exoskeletons are definitely in there and that’s the core of the game,” said Schofield in the interview with Metro.

“Our multiplayer has what I’m going to call the biggest set of new, as you call it, cool gear that you’ve seen in a long time,” Condrey added. “It’s a big step forward, from three years in development we’ve been able to innovate across the game. Everything you saw today… just imagine what that’s going to mean for multiplayer.”

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare sees its release on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 4.

The official Xbox website lists the game as coming to Xbox One and Xbox 360, while Amazon has the game listed for PS4, Xbox, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Square-Enix revealed the game at E3 last week, but made no mention of platforms on which it’ll be released.

It’s set to go on sale next Christmas and promises to traverse “some of the most beautifully hostile places on earth”.
