Games Thirst – Amazing Life
We promised that we’d be covering the activities of this year’s E3, and Microsoft kicks it off with what’s expected to be a monumental effort at their conference this year.
Much is there to prove. Last year, the company stumbled over every block set in its path, leaving Sony with one of its best E3s ever, and all the latter company had to do was show up. But this year’s different. Microsoft has dropped the price of Xbox One, dropped the Kinect requirement, dropped the need for the console to be always connected to the internet and removed the stupid requirement that kept services you already pay for, like Netflix, Hulu, et al, behind the Xbox Live Gold paywall. The company’s even trying to match Sony’s PS Plus offering with one of its own: Games With Gold, bringing the two services ever closer in terms of services offered.
So what’s left? Freaking games, boy! Games, games and more games! What will Microsoft show? We hear talk about a Crackdown 3 reveal at the presser, and even a big third-party title announcement at the event coming exclusive to Xbox One. The guns are loaded, aimed, and ready to fire.
