Ready At Dawn has confirmed that the new IP and PS4 exclusive The Order: 1886 won’t include multiplayer.
Responding to a question on Twitter, Read At Dawn chief technical officer and co-founder Andrea Pessino described The Order as a “single-player, third-person action adventure game”.
“No multiplayer,” he said.
The answer had some twitter respondents questioning the value of the game, but Pessino had a swift reply for the detractors: “Better to do one thing well than a whole bunch half-assed,” Pessino replied. “We are trying to make a SP experience you will enjoy.”
@TheRazorRex @elcuco786 Correct. No multiplayer, it is a single player, third person action adventure game.

I think it’s a good decision. If there’s no need for multiplayer, then I see no reason to tack it on. What are you thoughts?
