The first-party releases for PS4 from Sony hasn’t been a lot so far, but the good news is that we know they’re coming.
Giving us a reminder of the upcoming PS4 exclusives was Sony UK MD Fergal Gara, who, speaking at the PS Vita Slim announcement, said that “we have The Order 1886 coming later in the year”, matching the Fall/Autumn date that was previously mentioned. He also said that #DRIVECLUB would be released somewhere between the release of inFamous: Second Son and Read At Dawn’s The Order: 1886, suggesting a Q2/Q3 release for the racer.
Said Gara:
Things kick off again in a short few weeks with the launch of infamous Second Son, another great first party title starting to push the boundaries of what PS4 can do. We have Driveclub, again coming from our first party studios, and we have The Order 1886 coming later in the year. So that’s just a flavour of what our own studios are bringing out this year.
Even then, Sony hasn’t mentioned a thing for Q4, more pointedly the important November and December months, but I’m being lead to believe that Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4 will be released around that time.
