Xbox Live Goes Down On Eve Of Xbox One Launch

Xbox Live Goes Down On Eve Of Xbox One Launch

Update: Microsoft services, all of them, are back up!

Original Story: Not a good time for Microsoft’s servers to go out globally, but that’s exactly what’s happened here, as Xbox Live, Hotmail, Outlook and even are offline.

The cause for the outage is yet unknown, but we trust that Microsoft is working around the clock to get things back on track, especially as Xbox One launches in the U.S. and Europe tomorrow (it’s already out in Europe).

Even Microsoft’s cloud business, Azure, is down, so either something has gone terribly wrong with their system, or it’s under a harsh attack.  Apparently even Microsoft offices twitter accounts are inaccessible. Again, one we hope is temporary.

We’ll keep updating this post as the news happens.
