Fang Returns, not just Lightning.
Remember the Australian-accent-powered hard-headed warrior Oerba Yun Fang from Final Fantasy XIII? She’s coming back in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, the game that closes the trilogy.
Community manager Lee Willians discussed the game at the PlayStation EU Blog.
“Fang and Lightning eventually reunite and team up to explore the ancient ruins that lie buried beneath the sands of the Dead Dunes. When battle erupts, Fang fights by Lightning’s side, and the pair can easily take on foes that would be extremely difficult to defeat alone.”
Williams also revealed new births are impossible, so players can send a monster line extinct. Sounds nasty and menacing.
The game is coming out in just a month in Japan, while Western players will have to wait until February to get it for either PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360. Quench the new screens below, courtesy of the PS EU Blog!
