Beyond: Two Souls Reviews Are In — Another Mixed Bag

Reviews range anywhere from 4/10 — to 9/10, so what should we believe?

Beyond: Two Souls reviews have been pouring since yesterday, and never has there been a game so difficult to measure in terms of quality because it’s so sporadically rated.

Gamespot said it’s 9/10, but IGN claims it’s 6/10. PSU claims 9.5/10 while Eurogamer scored it 6/10. Kotaku said it’s a “Yes”, so the best thing a gamer could do is perhaps try the game out for themselves?

I just finished the game and i loved it!

Sometimes the true measure of a creative piece (art) is its ability to pull one’s emotional strings. Apparently that is what this game is doing and that is a good thing. Everything should not be Oh My God it is the “greatest game ever” or it just sucks. We need more games or art in general be it movies, music, paintings etc etc though sparks discussion not debates. Games that push out of comfort zones, challenges us in different ways instead of the same ole sequel, spin off, adaptation kick we have been on for more than a decade. Be water my friends…

Agreed with you os1019! The question is, does Beyond: Two Souls accomplish that?

    Good to hear!

Strange seeing Polygon giving a Sony Exclusive a great score.

Yeah. Maybe they’re redeeming themselves from the big The Last of Us scandal? Or maybe they actually like Beyond: Two Souls.

But that game scored really weird, though.
