Five sports from the original Wii Sports game getting the HD treatment for Wii U.
Bowling, tennis, baseball, boxing and golf from Wii Sports are coming to the Wii U as eShop downloads. Apart from the HD upscale, they’ll receive enhanced Wii MotionPlus controls and online multiplayer.
A key point of online multiplayer inclusion is the Wii Sports Club, where players can register to regional clubs and chat through the MiiVerse during matches for points that rank their clubs higher on the global list.
Wii Sports Club will have a trial period of 24 hours for each game when it’s first started. After the trial is over, a Day Pass for $2 can be purchased, and a permanent purchase will cost you $10 each.
November 7 will see the eShop releases of Tennis and Bowling, with the rest coming in the next few months.
