So Microsoft has purchased Xbox180.com. Oh boy.

The firm’s been on a domain-buying spree as of late, but not for the type of domains that it’s actually happy to buy, but rather those to save face.

Earlier today we reported that Microsoft purchased Xbone.com even after Major Nelson said the name was “disrespectful’. Now we’ve learned that the software giant also bought Xbox180.com.

In fact, the domain already reroutes to Xbox.com.
