Gearbox is working on 2 new next-gen IP’s

Revealed during PAX Prime.

Gearbox Software, the company behind Borderlands, Duke Nukem Forever and Aliens: Colonial Marines, revealed that they’re working on two new IP’s for next-gen consoles.

After their comments that Brothers in Arms would be reinvented as a new franchise, we’re led to speculate this is one of the two. The other one, though, must be something entirely new.

We’re pretty sure one of these is its transformation of its Brothers in Arms series, which the studio revealed last year would be reinvented as a new franchise. No idea what the other one could be.

Gearbox is working on a patch and a new DLC that releases today, while the Headhunter Pack DLC will be released in October, bringing back T.K. Baha from the original Borderlands.
