The Last of Us’s first piece of DLC to be revealed soon, sequel teased

The Last of Us will be getting its first piece of DLC soon, Naughty Dog has revealed, and a reveal will take place. They also teased that a new game is in the works, sort of. Creative director Neil Druckmann talked of all this during a Reddit Ask Me Anything session,  where he said that “news is on the way about the first DLC drop” and that we “should hear about it this month”.

Naughty Dog is working on two multiplayer DLC’s for the game, and one single-player DLC, which is being worked on.

Then, game director Bruce Straley said he felt the DLC is “amazing”. “Just wait! We’re happy with what we’ve come up with.”

What’s even more interesting though, is that Druckmann revealed that the team “playing with some ideas, but no direction has been set yet for the next game”, only to then backpedal and claim he didn’t know what Naughty Dog’s next game will be. With GamesCom on the horizon, it’s almost certain we’ll hear more about this.
