GTA V rated for Australia on first go

Grand Theft Auto V has received an age rating of (drum roll)… R18+ in Australia. Oh, how unexpected. The game was rated “Strong Impact” for Themes, Violence, Language, Nudity and Sex, but received “High Impact” for drug use. Again, unexpected.

Information from the classification process reveals the submitted version was the “original” one. GTA V will be released September 17 for Xbox 360 and PS3.

Meanwhile, rival open world mayhem crazy Saints Row IV has been denied classification twice, and a new, edited version is currently under classification process.
