Black Ops II Patch 1.13 Lengthens MP Load Times, Treyarch Working On Fix

Upon release, Black Ops II patch 1.13 has been causing players a lot of issues, with most of them reporting the inability to find any new personalization packs after going through the hassle of downloading them. Good thing is, Treyarch is working on a fix, and has been sending out messages via twitter.

“If the game is telling you that you don’t have a DLC or Personalization pack, but you know you do, you don’t need to reload it,” Treyarch game design director David Vonderhaar said. ”This is more likely to happen with people who have a lot of DLC or micro-trans. The game takes time to mount it all. (Like sticking a thumb drive in a USB slot on a computer.) If you wait a minute the game will catch up and show your DLC and MTX.”

He added: “We are working on a hotfix to give the game more time to discover all the content you own before you go into Xbox Live.”

Patch 1.13 was supposed to fix a myriad of issues instead of causing them, including nerfing several weapons. See patch notes of said patch here.

    The title says “bricking consoles”, which this article says nothing about. Please change the title to say something alone the line of “produces longer DLC loading times”.

    I downloaded the update and after getting 90% there was an error and now it seems to want to take forever to download guess I wont be getting that update anytime soon just wish I hadnt wasted my money on the map packs which make it take way longer to find matches even without the update!!!!!!!!!! I wish 3arc would just get their act together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get private servers and take care of their customers which bring them millions of dollars every year!!!!!!!! let me know when your update has been fixed and I can play black ops 2 again guess I will be playing battlefield in the mean time thanks a lot guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    PRODUCES LONGER DLC LOADING TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND ALL THIS FOR ZOMBIES P[ATCHES MAYBE THEY SHOULD MAKE THE ZOMBIE PATCHES ONLY NECESSARY WHEN PLAYING ZOMBIES AS i NEVER PLAY ZOMBIES AND NOW I CANNOT EVEN PLAY MULTIPLAYER CAUSE THEIR SEEMED TO BE SOME ISSUE AFTER DOWNLOADING 95% AND NOW IT WANTS TO TAKE 300 MIN TO DOWNLOAD WHEN IT SHOULD START WHERE IT LEFT OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BATTLEFIELD FOR ME I GUESS OR SOMETHING AINT GONNA SIT HERE FOR THREE HOURS TO PLAY A GAME PROBABLY EVER!!!!!!!! THATS TO MUCH TIME I COULD BE SPENDING PLAYING THE OTHER GAMES THAT I HAVE SPENT MONEY ON THAT ACTUALLY WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 THANKS AGAIN GUYS 3ARC YOU SHOULD BE MECHANICS FIX ONE THING AND BREAK THREE OTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!
