Another reveal from Gearbox’s panel at PAX Australia came in the form of more Borderlands 2 DLC. Raising the cap to 72, adding new missions and raid bosses, the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruct Peak Challenge (or incredibly long title for no reason, if you ask me), is coming “before October 31″, for the admission price of 5$. Patricia Tannis will let players challenge high-level enemies, which you can even “over level” for “impossible challenges”, on the new map of Digistruct Peak Challenge. Along with it, a free update will add more backpack, ammo and bank slots.
“Headhunter” packs are also going on offer, adding new missions and uniquely themed boss fights. The first of those will be T. K. Baha’s Bloody Harvest, a character from Borderlands’ Zombie Island of Dr Ned DLC pack. Baha will pit players against a giant pumpkin named Jaque O’Lantern, who will drop new charater customizations as loot. However, no release date or price have been announced.
Lastly, new heads and color schemes are coming later this year. Keep in mind, all new DLC after Tiny Tina’s Assault on the Dragon Keep is not covered by the Season Pass, including the new Psycho class.
In other news, Gearbox is releasing Homeworld and Homeworld 2 again, in various versions.
