3DS surpasses every other games console in June sales in the US

Nintendo has announced that 225,000 Nintendo 3DSs were sold across the US in June, making the platform the best-selling games hardware for the period. In comparison, Microsoft sold 140,000 Xbox 360 units during the same time period, which the firm says makes it 30 consecutive months as the “best-selling console in the US”.

There are no publicly reported figures for the Wii U or PS3 at this moment.
