Microsoft has been steady reversing course over the past few weeks, firstly abandoning its DRM plans for Xbox One, allowing the system to play used games, and play games without an internet connection. The new problem for the Redmond-based company is a headset.
No, Xbox One does not include a headset in the box, PS4 does. Even further, your Xbox 360 headset won’t work on your Xbox One – at least that’s what Microsoft announced, but after another backlash, the company said via twitter that it’s working on an adapter to make Xbox 360 headsets compatible with Xbox One although, most likely, you’ll have to pay for said headset.
Microsoft relayed the news via twitter:
@craigfellows We are working to develop an adapter for current wired headsets to connect. More details as we approach launch. ^PS
