Nintendo’s announced Mario Kart 8 for Wii U, coming to a store near you some time next year. Trailer inside.
“In Mario Kart 8 we have implemented anti-gravity within courses,” Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata said. “Mario and friends can race up walls and upside down in new three-dimensional courses.”

Mario Kart 8 will launch spring 2014.
