Microsoft Studios boss Phil Spencer, maybe in an effort to combat the wave of negative news surrounding the Xbox One, has given hints to The Verge that Rare may just unveil Killer Instinct for the console at E3 2013.
And even if it’s not Killer Instinct, Rare will be bringing to the show a particular “historic” IP that they’ve built, that could be beneficial to Xbox One, Spencer divulged.
Fans of Rare and Rare IP I think will be pleased with what we’re going to show at E3.
That historic IP that they’ve built I think can play a real important role on Xbox One.
So on Rare’s catalog, there’s Perfect Dark, Kameo, Viva Pinata, Conker, Kinect Sports and then there’s, you guessed it: Killer Instinct.
E3 happens from June 11th-13th.
