This is going to be hilarious… The system needs an internet connection in order to play games… because they have register the game first, then you can play offline.

so my tiny apartment living room was too small for kinect, i wonder if kinect 2.0 will be more accomodating? i’d love to play halo 5 but if it’s going to force kinect on me i might rethink my decision. i love final fantasy but 11 and 14 are dead to me due to me not wanting to pay a monthly fee just to play a game that i’ve already paid for. xbox one might be dead to me for trying to force kinect down my throat (how many people actually like that thing anyways?) as well as lack of backwards compatibility etc etc.
