Sometime last year it was revealed that Microsoft couldn’t use the Killer Instinct name for a possible game Rare would be developing, because FOX had secured the trademark after its MS allowed it to expire for a crime drama. But all that’s the past, as both companies have apparently come to an agreement allowing Microsoft to move ahead with, what, Killer Instinct Xbox 720?
Just a few days ago, Fox and Microsoft signed a Trademark Coexistence Agreement, as discovered by NeoGAF user Rösti. These documents are used by two corporations that are comfortable with each other utilizing similar branding.
