Kojima Productions Opens New Studio In L.A., Hopes It Becomes ‘Top Studio In The Wolrd’

Kojima Productions is extending its hands from Japan and into the wild west, Los Angeles to be exact, as the firm’s confirmed that it’s opening a new studio in the aforementioned state, one it hopes will become the ‘top studio in the world’. For a man of Kojima’s know-how, nothing’s impossible.

The new 30,000 sq ft studio, based in the Hercules Campus in Playa Vista, Los Angeles, features its own testing facilities and screening rooms.

The LA studio aims to create “the highest quality interactive entertainment which brings deep emotional experiences” and has a “quality first” approach.

The studio’s already working on new projects, however Kojima didn’t speak about them.

  1. sorry that’s Rockstar, Rockstar doesn’t know how to make bad games.

  2. LOL! Has Kojima made a bad game, Ghost? Can’t remember one. But you’re right, Rocktar’s boss.

  3. yea but this is a totally different studio headed by someone else. Kojima Prodcutions is in japan, but red fox productions is in america.

  4. oh nevermind it says the world, i thought it said america lol.

  5. I guess it’ll be interesting to see what they come up with, right? But if we were to choose “Best Developers” in the world, both Kojipro and Rockstar would be sitting atop.

  6. Wow, that is awesome! I can’t wait to see what comes out of that. Kojima is one hell of a man, I have a good feeling about this.
