Bayonetta Would Never Happen If Not As A Wii U Exclusive – Kamiya

The only reason we have a Bayonetta 2 today is because Nintendo forked up the money for it, Platinum Games head Hideki Kamiya has once again stressed in an effort to quell angry fans who didn’t plan on buying a Wii U.

Kamiya reconfirmed the news via yet another tweet, this time hoping fans would be satisfied.

Question is, will you buy a Wii U just for Bayonetta 2?

    good luck nintendo, bayonetta blows. i don’t see that game selling that much on the wii u. it barely sold on the PS3 & 360 combines.

    Plus Wii U isn’t flying off store shelves either.

    I can’t see myself buying a wii-u just for Bayonetta 2, now buying it for other games and picking up Bayonetta for cheap later on, that i could see happening.

    yup, thats the definition of publisher right.
    hes handling this REALLY poorly though.
    he keeps spitting out the same statement over and over and over and over and over and over and over again!
    ok, we get it, bayonetta 2 would not exist if it was not a wiiu exclusive!
    thats not going to stop the fans from being pissed at you!
