The Most Watched Video On YouTube In February Was PS4 Ad

Beats Samsung’s ‘Next Big Thing’ ad campaign, other notable brands, for number 1.

The ad went live on February 20th – that’s late in the month, yet still managed to outdo brands like Samsung’s Galaxy IV hype ad, a testament to the power of the PlayStation brand.

It garnered 26 million views from February 20th to the weekend ending March 4th, and continues to be one of the most popular videos trending on YouTube – the the full list of top videos in February, 2013 here.

The list was determined by looking at ads uploaded within the month that “most moved audiences through a combination of promotion (paid ads) and popularity (organic views).”

so technically this is factually incorrect. Its not the most watched video at all its the most watched ad, and includes promotion ads, which im assuming include the annoying ads that pop up at the start of the video which you have no choice over watching? im sure if you threw enough money at it anyone could have the “most watched video” on youtube
